District Fall Meeting
Please join us for our GFWC IL 5th/6th District Fall Meeting on Monday, November 11th for a Salad Supper and Fall Meeting at the Naperville Woman's Club Clubhouse (14 S Washington St, Naperville, IL 60540)! We will have guest speakers from the DuPage Children's Museum, a Veteran from Naperville Woman's Club and discuss important District & State updates. Please invite any members from your Club who wish to attend!
For our Veteran's Day Service Project, please bring any leftover Halloween candy to donate to veterans.
Here's the schedule for the evening:

5:30-6:30pm - Dinner Social
6:30pm - Meeting Begins

GFWC IL 5th/6th District Unity Project: Walk to End Alzheimer’s!
Welcome to the GFWC IL 5th/6th District Team Page for the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®! Walk is the largest event to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association®. The Alzheimer's Association is the newest GFWC Affiliate Organization as announced at the GFWC Annual Convention!
Currently, more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's and over 11 million family and friends provide their unpaid care. Please join Team GFWC IL 5th/6th District in our efforts to fundraise and bring awareness to end this devastating disease. All Clubwomen, family and friends are welcome to participate in this UNITY PROJECT! Here's how you can help:
Walk with Team GFWC IL 5th/6th District! Encourage your Club gal pals to join our team and walk with us! Don't forget to wear your PURPLE!

2024 GFWC Annual Convention
To all who Dream Big, Sparkle More, and indeed Shine Bright, the 2024 GFWC Annual Convention is upon us! Please join GFWC as we “Sparkle, Shine & Succeed” at the Hilton in Downtown Chicago, June 28 - July 1, 2024!
GFWC-IL 5th-6th District Annual Meeting
Doors will open at 5:30pm and food begins at 6pm. Food will be pizza, cheese ravioli, mostaccioli with meat sauce, Italian beef, fried chicken, salad, pepsi, lemonade, iced tea and coffee. Dessert will be provided.
Cost will be $37.50 per guest. This includes the buffet, gratuity and tax. Please make check payable to GFWC-IL 5th/6th District and mail to Joan Marchese. Please get your checks (along with your head counts) to her by April 23.
5th-6th District Meeting Afternoon Tea
Join us at Drury Lane for a fun and fancy Tea Party as celebrate International Women's Day by welcoming a guest speaker, participating in a group service project and sharing District, State and GFWC updates. All Clubwomen from 5th-6th District are welcome to attend. Kindly RSVP by March 1st.
